Life seems good already for my three children, me and my husband. Our children’s health will improve now because of this filter and it makes us really happy and thankful to the TRI and LWDGC.
My husband is a hunter and I am a farmer, and so we really think that whatever thing we are doing, with the help of this filter, we will have good health to be able to move forward.

I want to thank you Peter and your partners. I really do not have much to say rather than to tell you that I am more than happy for having my own filter. My house is far from my grandmother, but I still do all to use the filter in her house as it’s been helping me a lot. So now that I have one in my own house is going to help me a lot.

I am still single though my wife left me some years back and since then; I have not been able to get married again. I am alone in my house and I believe that my health will improve once I start drinking the water from the sand filter. I am so delighted for having one for my household.

It is true that God’s time is always the best. Here are the people of Nkuv today having a precious gift from the US NGO and our own son Peter. If the people of Nkuv can drink clean water now, then really God will provide more for many others that do not have work to do yet.

Since I saw the filters being constructed here in Nkuv, I have been asking questions if really they are for free and even if not, how possible can one have hers for the family, and finally our son Njodzeka brought us the good news from TRI that we will have the filters for free and no matter what labour work that is needed to have the filter, I was ready and now I would like to say thank you very much for this.
Since I’ve been in this Nkuv, I would like to testify here that this is the one and only project that I see realized in Nkuv and I believe that everything is going on well because it is the source to water and we all know that water is life. So I am really very happy to be one of those that can now enjoy using the filters, and I also believe that other people will have access to the filter. I will also like to thank Peter for his efforts to see that we have good water first for our children.
I would like to thank the TRI for this good work they are doing and for coming to Cameroon and Nkuv as the first place, it’s like you best know where to start your project in Cameroon, because here in Nkuv, there is no way to have clean drinking water and now I believe we have it at our doorsteps.
I have many children and I now know that they will be happy using the filter by drinking the clean water in their lives here in Nkuv.

I am very happy that our family now have a sand filter. Things have been tough for me and my sisters and brothers regarding the health and the waterborne disease, not to talk of my 3 year old daughter and my brother’s children as well. I believe this filter has come to help us do away with all the water disease and we will make sure we use it correctly and neatly.

As a bio sand filter technician, I have been constructing other people’s filters and now, I and my junior brother on the photo have ours. I want to thank the TRI and our boss, Mr. Peter who brought this project to our country and first to our community. I also want to thank him because now, I can construct a filter and will be very happy to also teach other people in other communities to be able to build in their communities. It is very helpful to the lives of our people from the results that we have been having for the last years. Also, this has helped me and now I can feel employed alongside with other technicians in our community because we are able to buy some soap, cooking oil for our families.

Thank you very much TRI, I do not know the meaning of Thirst Relief because I did not go to school, but thanks to our brother Peter who explained it to us and really, it exactly the meaning of what you have just done us, relieved our thirst as we usually lack clean water.
I do not have any family year, I am single but I believe once I build a family, this filter will continue to protect us from any waterborne disease. I have been suffering several times from stomach problems in the past and present year(s). The doctor told me once to always boil my water before drinking, I have been doing so but as you know, it is always very difficult to do that everyday, and now that I have a filter, I will do everything possible and required to keep this filter clean and protected from any dirt.

As a young couple with our first son who is already one year old now, we are very happy to have this sand filter. We’ve only been hearing the news and seeing the filters in other people’s houses, and today we have ours. Our son has been having constant stomach problems and we believe its because of the nature of the drinking water. We strongly believe that you people the TRI and the LWDGC are God’s sent to us here in Cameroon as we did not have to pay any money to have our filter, which we believe is the key to our health.

To me, I think this is the solution to the first problem that of poor health. I am very happy and relieved because in the past years, I have been suffering from Diarrhoea and when I went to the hospital, I was told that it was due to bad water and now I own a filter. I believe I will no longer suffer with diarrhoea.
